Community Involvement: Allentown

At SERVPRO of Allentown & Western Lehigh County, we want to give back to our community as much as possible and show our support for our first responders. We are involved in the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and are active members in our community. We love to attend ribbon cuttings to support local businesses, like the new opening of the Fogelsville location of Sherwin Wiliams pictured in the attached photo. We are always looking to sponsor local events and show our support for growing in the community. Events that involve first responders such as firefighters and police officers are important to us because we know how hard they work to keep our community safe. Recently we are able to take firefighters from Coopersburg Fire Company to an IronPigs Game to treat them to a special night and get away from the stress they may face during their days. We love having a relationship with our fire departments to donate water to them, provide dinner for their training nights, and be involved in their community days. We are always looking for more opportunities to donate and give back to our communities through any events that are being hosted. At SERVPRO, we pride ourselves on our community involvement. The Allentown & Western Lehigh franchises are heavily involved in donating water and supplies to local fire departments, participating in community events, and being proud members of chamber of commerce organizations.

At Chamber of Commerce organizations, we are able to share with other businesses and community leaders about SERVPRO’s quality services such as our Esporta machine. With our Esporta machine, we are able to provide highly detailed cleaning of things like fire equipment for firefighters or even sports jerseys for local schools. We offer these services at no cost to our community in order to give back and show our appreciation. 

Paws in the Park is one of our favorite events planned by the chamber to be involved in. We love being able to gather with our community and especially get to hang out with all of the adorable dogs and cats in the park. Through networking opportunities like this, we are able to grow closer connections within our community and even get to inform others about our wide range of services. We love to provide the community with items to take home with them as well. For Paws in the Park specifically, we provide doggy bags, treats, tennis balls, or other dog themed items to give out to the public for their enjoyment.

We donate supplies to fire departments as often as possible and enjoy maintaining our relationship with them to form tighter bonds in our community as a whole. Any way that we can help, we love to make situations easier and provide assistance to anyone!

Paws at the Park Event!

We had our staff at the Paws at the Park!

On May 15, SERVPRO of Allentown Central and Western Lehigh County sponsored the second annual Paws at the Park event hosted by Western Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. 

This event was held to help raise funds for Starting Over Animal Rescue (SOAR). We were the Water Bowl Sponsor and had a booth to interact with the community. We look forward to sponsoring events in the area. At SERVPRO, we specialize in pet odor removal for new home buyers, pet dander/allergen cleaning services. 

At this event, we had a social media giveaway basket. In addition, we had staff handing out dog waste bag dispensers. We are here to help in your community and looking forward to more events. At SERVPRO of Allentown and Western Lehigh County, we are active members of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. As a member of this organization, we understand the importance of supporting local businesses. 

We attend ribbon cutting ceremonies often to show our support. We attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for Burger King. It was the first Burger King in Emmaus, PA. 

In addition to attending events, we often sponsor local community events. This past March, we sponsored the 63rd Annual Allentown St. Patrick's Day Parade. We decorated our Promaster Work truck and had three of our employees hand out candy to the crowd. At this event, we had WFMZ covering it live. We had a blast participating in this event and look forward to sponsoring in the future.

This is our table we had at the Paws at the Park event!

On May 16th, SERVPRO of Western Lehigh County sponsored the first annual Paws at the Park event hosted by Western Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and The Sanctuary of Haafsville. 

This event was held to raise money for the Sanctuary of Haafsville. This facility has cats and dogs looking for their furever homes. We were honored to be the Top Dog Sponsor at this event. In addition to our love for animals, SERVPRO of Western Lehigh County has sponsored this event as we deal directly with the indoor upkeep with owning a pet. Specifically, we specialize in pet odor removal for new home buyers, pet dander/allergen cleaning, carpet cleaning and duct cleaning services.

Our staff enjoyed having a table and interacting with our community. We handed out dog waste bag dispensers.
